I’m Luiza Moir — a qualified music psychotherapist (MA, University of the West of England, Bristol), singer, songwriter, music producer, and performing artist with a lifelong passion for music’s power to heal, connect, and inspire. Before stepping into therapeutic work, I spent many years as a recording artist and songwriter, collaborating with a wide range of musicians — from emerging talent to internationally established artists. I co-wrote the No.1 Polish hit “Żałuję” for Ewelina Flinta, which became the biggest song of 2003 in Poland, and have written and produced music for some of the country’s most celebrated stars. My songs have featured in major films and commercials, and I’ve released several albums both as a solo artist and in collaboration with others.
Highlights include working with Grammy-nominated producers Andy Bradfield and Avril Mackintosh on my British EP Looking For Sound, and recording the single No Matter What You Do at the iconic Real World Studios (Peter Gabriel’s label), released globally under their name. In 2019, through Sounds Like Women, I released EP1 – Without Violence & of All Colours, followed by EP2 in 2022 — a powerful collaboration with survivors of domestic abuse who co-wrote and performed the songs themselves.
Today, I bring together my creative roots and therapeutic practice, offering trauma-informed music therapy, creative workshops, and community events that support people from all walks of life — including women and girls recovering from abuse, people living with trauma, disability, or emotional pain, and those simply seeking a space to reconnect with themselves through music.
After some time away from the spotlight, I’m now returning to the stage and currently recording a new solo album, full of stories, sound, and soul — and I truly can’t wait to share it with you.
I’m a qualified Music Therapist (Master (MA) in Music Therapy, (University of the West of England, Bristol). I bring warmth, creativity, passion and integrity to my work, creating a safe space for people to explore, express, and heal through music.
I'm insured and DBS checked.
