Music therapy is a gentle but powerful way to help you feel more grounded, understood, and connected — especially if you're living with long-term mental health challenges, emotional pain, or overwhelming thoughts.
It’s not about learning music or performing. It’s about expressing yourself freely and safely, using a wide variety of instruments in the therapy room, or through songwriting, singing, improvising, listening, or even just reflecting and talking about the music. You don’t need any musical skills — just a bit of interest or love for music.
How does it work?
You’ll join a small, supportive group that meets for 10 consecutive weeks — same day, same time, same faces — led by a qualified music therapist. In this safe and welcoming space, you can take things at your own pace. You’ll never be asked to do anything you’re not ready for. Everything happens gently, and you’ll be supported not only by the therapist, but also by the rest of the group members — people who may share similar experiences and understand how it feels.
Music therapy can help you to:
Whether you're playing, singing, listening, creating, or simply being present — this is your time, your space, and always your choice.
And along the way, you may find connection, calm, and even joy through music that speaks when words feel too heavy.
Life feels a little lighter and better with music in it.
